DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE

IT & ELV Systems

Modern buildings are no longer simply physical structures — they are intelligent environments. The IT and ELV systems that run through a building’s infrastructure determine how safely it operates, how efficiently it is managed, how effectively it serves its occupants, and how well it adapts to the evolving technological demands of the organizations that use it. In healthcare facilities particularly, the quality and reliability of IT and ELV infrastructure is directly linked to patient safety, clinical efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Verta Build’s specialized ELV team designs and installs the complete digital and low-current infrastructure for every facility we deliver — from the network backbone that connects clinical workstations to the nurse call systems that link patients to care teams, from the access control systems that secure sensitive areas to the integrated building management systems that optimize energy performance and operational efficiency.

Our IT and ELV capability covers seven core system categories. The first is structured cabling and network infrastructure — the physical foundation of every digital system in the building. We design and install Category 6A and fiber optic cabling systems that meet the bandwidth, reliability, and redundancy requirements of modern healthcare and hospitality operations, ensuring that network performance never becomes a constraint on clinical or operational effectiveness.

The second is security and access control — encompassing CCTV surveillance systems, electronic access control, intruder detection, and perimeter security installations designed to meet the specific security requirements of healthcare, hospitality, and commercial environments. Our security systems are designed as integrated solutions rather than isolated installations — with centralized management platforms that give security teams complete visibility and control across every access point in the facility.

The third is fire detection and alarm systems — designed and installed to Civil Defense standards and international fire safety codes. In healthcare facilities particularly, fire detection and alarm systems must be designed with an understanding of the specific risks, occupant vulnerabilities, and evacuation challenges that clinical environments present. Our fire safety installations reflect this specialized understanding, ensuring compliance, reliability, and the highest possible level of occupant protection.

The fourth is nurse call and clinical communication systems — the systems that enable patients to communicate with care teams, that allow clinical staff to coordinate across departments, and that integrate with other clinical information systems to support efficient, responsive patient care. These systems are designed in close collaboration with clinical planners and nursing management to ensure they support actual clinical workflows rather than simply meeting specification requirements.

The fifth is audiovisual and public address systems — covering patient entertainment systems, staff communication, public address and emergency notification, digital signage, and the full range of AV installations required for healthcare, hospitality, and commercial facilities.

The sixth is building management systems — the integrated platform that monitors and controls HVAC, electrical, lighting, access control, and other building systems from a centralized management interface. In large, complex facilities, a well-designed BMS is the difference between a facility that is efficiently managed and one that consumes excessive energy, generates excessive maintenance costs, and fails to deliver the operational performance its owners expect.

The seventh is data center and server room infrastructure — the secure, climate-controlled, power-protected environments that house the servers, network equipment, and data storage systems that modern facilities depend on. Our data infrastructure installations meet international standards for power redundancy, cooling efficiency, physical security, and cable management.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Verta Build different from a traditional contractor?
Unlike conventional contractors who execute only what is designed by others, Verta Build operates as an integrated delivery company. We manage the full project lifecycle — from concept and planning through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation support — with in-house discipline leads controlling every stage.
What sectors does Verta Build specialize in?
Our primary specialization is healthcare construction — hospitals, specialized clinics, and medical facilities built to MOH and international compliance standards. We also deliver across hospitality, commercial and mixed-use, and residential sectors. Healthcare remains our crown sector given our team's deep clinical and regulatory expertise.
How does Verta Build ensure regulatory compliance on healthcare projects?
Our delivery team includes dedicated healthcare facility consultants and regulatory specialists who work alongside engineers from day one. We maintain direct alignment with MOH requirements throughout every phase — from design development and procurement through construction and commissioning — ensuring facilities are delivered fully compliant and operationally ready.
Who are Verta Build's strategic partners and what role do they play?
Verta Build operates within a purpose-built group structure. ID4H is our Turkish design and construction partner bringing 10+ years of international project experience. NexaMed manages healthcare procurement and equipment supply. STS provides specialized MEP systems engineering. Horizons Plus Holding is our parent company. These partners are embedded into our delivery model — not outsourced vendors.
Does Verta Build operate outside Saudi Arabia?
Verta Build is a Saudi-based company focused on delivering projects within the Kingdom, fully aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and local regulatory frameworks. Through our strategic partnership with ID4H, we bring international construction expertise and global best practices directly into our Saudi project execution.
